You are welcome to use this site to learn about our services and to contact us. Please do not misuse it: do not try to break or overload it, reach parts of it you are not meant to reach, or copy it in bulk.

Information, not an offer

What you read here describes our services in general. It is not a quote and it is not a contract. The services, price and terms for a site are agreed with you in writing, after we have walked the site.

We work to keep this site accurate and up to date, but things change. If something on this site matters to a decision you are making, please confirm it with us in writing first.

The demonstration portal and illustrations

The demonstration portal on this site shows Aster House, a fictional site. Every name, figure and note in it is sample data. Where a portal screen is shown on a device, the room and the device are illustrations; the screen is from the portal demonstration, with sample data.

Other websites

This site links to other services we use, such as our quote form on scan.secateq.com, our articles on insights.secateq.com and WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices.

Words, photos and logos

The content of this site, including its words, photos, designs and the SecaTeq names and logos, belongs to SecaTeq (Pty) Ltd or is used with permission. Client logos are shown with each client’s permission and remain their property, as do the logos of the registration and industry bodies shown. Please do not reuse any of it without our written permission.

Your personal information

How we collect and use personal information, and how to make a request under POPIA, is set out in our privacy notice. Our use of cookies is explained in its cookies section.

Liability

We provide this website as it is. To the extent the law allows, SecaTeq (Pty) Ltd is not liable for loss that comes from using this site or from relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies to you.
