How a patrol is proved.
Route set
We walk your site with you and agree the checkpoints: gates, basements, perimeter corners, plant rooms, bin areas.
Checkpoint scanned
The officer scans each QR checkpoint on the round. Time, place, name and a photo, in one action.
Measured and flagged
Each round is measured against the last 30 nights. A missed or late checkpoint is flagged for the supervisor to follow up.
Incidents escalated
Anything wrong is logged with photos and escalated in real time. Faults go to facilities as a work order.
Record kept
The route walked and every scan stay searchable for the trustee pack, the AGM or an insurance query.

How do patrol checkpoints work?
Fixed QR checkpoints are placed around your site at gates, basements and perimeter points. The officer scans each one on every round. Each scan records the time, the location and the officer's name. A missed or late checkpoint is flagged in the SecaTeq portal so a supervisor can follow up.
What happens when a guard logs an incident?
The officer logs it on the spot in the SecaTeq portal, with photos. The portal escalates it in real time to the people who need to act, such as the supervisor and operations. The entry stays timed and searchable, so trustees have a clean record for the AGM or an insurer.
Is SecaTeq registered with PSIRA?
Yes. SecaTeq (Pty) Ltd is registered with PSIRA as a security service provider. Ask us for the certificate and verify it with PSIRA directly. We recommend trustees ask every security bidder for the same proof, in the same company name as the invoice, before signing any contract.
Does SecaTeq provide armed response?
SecaTeq runs its own tactical response team. Armed response is provided through our armed response partner. During the site walkthrough we agree who responds, how incidents are escalated and who is told, and we put it in writing. Do you install CCTV for body corporates?
Yes, as part of a security plan rather than a camera sale. We survey the site, design coverage around real risk points, install, test and hand over in writing. Camera alerts are tied to the people who respond, so footage leads to action, not only evidence after the fact.
Can we replace our paper occurrence book?
Yes. Our officers log every incident in a digital occurrence book in the SecaTeq portal, with photos, time and location. Entries can be searched and filtered, so finding last month's basement incidents takes seconds. Bring your current book to the walkthrough and we will show the difference.
